This tool is used to move the ignition switch from one position to another when the knobis removed. It can also be used to align the internal lugs of the ignition switch, if the lugs become misalignedwhile working on FLHT and FLTR models.
When you need to move the forks while you have the ignition popped out or you will not fully reinsert your ignition when putting things back together. This tool takes care of re-aligning the tumblers in about 10 seconds.
Aligns ignition switch housing as retaining screws are being torqued.
